This year the Credit Awards mark its 20th year as one of the leading awards programmes as it continues to recognise the outstanding achievements of companies and individuals within the credit and collections industry.
Facing off some stiff competition from nine companies including Esendex, Callminer, Credit Resource Solutions, Hubsolv and Acquired.com, this achievement for Webio is particularly special when you look at the strength of other nominated finalists. The whole team at Webio are delighted.
"We are over the moon with this win, especially given the calibre of the other finalists. It is always an honour to be recognised by the industry and our peers and to have all the hard work and effort validated", says Mark OppermannEVP Sales and Marketing at Webio.
"The Webio team and our conversational middleware platform are going from strength to strength. We are particularly proud of the innovative collections and recovery solutions that we are delivering to our clients. That is what is all about, making it easier for our clients to reach out, engage and collect customer payments more effectively whilst enhancing the customer journey throughout the credit and collections process."
It has been a been a great couple of years for Webio winning a number of awards in the collections space - 'Best Technology in Collections' award at the Collections and Customer Service Awards (CCS), the 'Collections & Recoveries Award' and 'Customer Engagement Solutions Award' at the Credit and Collections Technology Awards.
From a technology perspective, 2019 has seen some great new skills additions to the conversational middleware platform, with the latest being WebioPay, which enables collections teams to take payments directly within conversational messaging streams such as SMS, Messenger and WhatsApp across 120 global Payment Service Providers.
The winners were selected by an independent judging panel, all hand selected titans of the industry, who have continuously and restlessly worked to ensure that each decision is fair and impartial.
The awards ceremony took place on May 16th and was hosted by Jimmy Carr at The Grosvenor Hotel, London.
