Following on the back of the oversubscribed Conference in 2017, and building on the feedback from the delegates, participants, and industry specialists, Convercon is coming back, bigger and better than ever.
Moving from the half-day gathering in the Dublin Science Gallery to an amazing venue like Microsoft, will facilitate larger audiences and a full-day conference. It is a great setting to hear and talk to the world’s leading conversational interface platform players, technology enablers, next level CX design experts. The intimate setting will continue to enable experts, researchers, and practitioners to share leading research coupled with practical learnings and experiences from the field. The explosion of interest in bots, and platforms such as Amazon Alexa, alongside the growth in different forms of Artificial Intelligence should make this a must attend conference for those in the industry.
Commenting, Paul Sweeney, ConverCon Co-Founder and EVP at Webio “ConverCon 2017” was the first conference of its kind where all the players required to deliver a usable, working, conversational interface gathered. Having experts from Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Oracle, Intercom and Typeform contributing ensured a richer more informative discussion was taking place, and we are delighted to now bring ConverCon 2018 to Microsoft. Conversational interfaces have the power to be transformational, but we have to be super practical about how we move towards implementing this on all levels within the industry”, says Sweeney.
ConverCon will address themes such as data ethics and the ethical AI; cultural and gender factors that should be factored into global deployment; and the suprisingly practical elements that have to be designed for great user experiences. As we have recently seen form the Google Duplex demo at Google’s last IO18 conference conversational interfaces are the key global technology trend of the day.
ConverCon will take place on September 6th 2018 and runs from 9:00am-6:00pm, after which at ‘The Big Conversation with Pizza and Beer’ will let delegates avail of further networking opportunities.
