Ben has 20+ years of experience in innovation, strategic planning, and change management. His strategic focus is to maintain a broad view of the emerging technologies, development theories and practices evaluating each to discern which of those provide value and are worth adopting.
He has a background in evaluating technology and its trajectory, developing policies and programmes to ensure robust, secure and scalable technology, recruiting and managing key technical staff, ensuring contracts align with technical needs, budgeting for technical infrastructure and development, and ensuring deliverables are met.
He has experience working with AI-enabled chatbots (automated agents) and messaging platforms, retailing systems, digital marketing, airline reservation platforms, interactive tv, and he has worked for brand names such as Carlton TV (now ITV), BBC, and BMI Regional Airlines.
His spare time is mostly taken up with 3D printing (things that are mostly useless) and fishing on a Virtual Reality headset.
